I design and build websites.
I also obsess over typefaces and well-written code.
What I do
I am a freelance designer living and working in Oxford. I'm currently working on some great projects for a variety of lovely clients.
I originally trained as a typographer and information designer, but it was only once I started designing and building websites that I discovered and learned to love my inner geek.
Since then there’s been no looking back and that’s why I’m here, doing what I do.
If you are interested in working with me on a project, please drop me a line.
I am as happy scribbling ideas on the back of an envelope as getting stuck into some coding and enjoy being involved in all parts of a project, from inception to completion.
I've also worked on a lot of print-based projects from business cards to magazines and signage systems. Though the web is so important in modern day life, there will always be a place for print – there's just nothing quite like the feel of a job fresh from the press!
When not working you will probably find me relaxing in my home town of Oxford, or on a ski slope pretending to be a freestyle skier.
I enjoy live music, visiting new places and the odd gin & tonic.
BOP wanted a new website which reflected their range of work. I handled the design, development and also brought in a content strategist to help BOP write the copy for the site.
ABA wanted to update the look and feel of their online presence, and be able to have more input into the content of the site. I designed and built the site, using Perch CMS to pass the control over to them, and gave them training to ensure they would be confident updating the site in the future.
Sarola organises successful events around the world for a variety of loyal clients. They needed a new identity including logo, stationery and a website. The result is a clean, modern design which sets them apart from the competition.
A great project I was involved in while at Lift, this site lists and brings together reading groups from all over the country. I designed the site and helped manage the project.
